FINVIA expands its advisory services to include independent investment consulting
Frankfurtam Main, April 15, 2025 - The Frankfurt-based multi-family office FINVIA is now offering wealthy individuals and families, single family offices, foundations and institutional investors independent and individual advice, e.g. to review their portfolios and the associated investment strategies.
"Particularly in an increasingly volatile market environment, many clients are asking themselves whether their investment strategy still meets today's requirements - and whether their portfolio is really well positioned compared to others," explains Christian Maschner, Head of Asset Management at FINVIA. The need is often addressed by single family offices or foundations that want a neutral assessment or review of their portfolio strategies. "With our investment consulting services, we create the necessary transparency. We provide well-founded analyses, identify risks, benchmarks and potential for improvement - regardless of whether the portfolio is managed internally or by external consultants," explains Christian Maschner.
FINVIA's Investment Consulting can be used on a modular basis and offers, among other things
- Portfolio health check: comparison of performance, costs and sustainability in the market environment.
- Cash flow and NAV comparisons with peer groups: Transparent valuation of alternative investments.
- Simulations & stress tests: analysis of portfolio stability under various market scenarios.
- Strategic asset allocation: evaluation and optimization of long-term capital allocation.
- Tactical control & risk management: Identification of cluster risks and hedging strategies.
FINVIA deliberately focuses on providing completely independent advice: there are no sales interests, no hidden fees and no dependence on product recommendations. Instead, customers receive an objective and data-based assessment of their investments and thus a clear basis for decision-making.
"With our Investment Consulting service, we enable genuine "advice on advice": clients can not only have their own portfolio reviewed, but also validate the investment strategies of their asset managers. This creates control, transparency and the good feeling of making the best possible decisions," emphasizes Dr. Benjamin Moritz, Head of Investment Research at FINVIA.
"We see time and again that even experienced investors are surprised when they see their portfolios in direct comparison with the competition. Our modular investment consulting creates a fact-based foundation for optimizing existing investment strategies or making strategic adjustments," Maschner continues.
